Does anyone have a suggestion for a gigbag for an Artist Award? The head stock doesn’t fit in my Reunion Blues. Thanks
this, but I'd want a bag too. why don't you give some measures so we can help better.Seeing the words "Gigbag" and "Artist Award" in the same sentence scares me!
I use mono for my basses and my Benedettos, great bagsthis, but I'd want a bag too. why don't you give some measures so we can help better.

The guitars stay in cases at home, I only use the bag on gigsSeeing the words "Gigbag" and "Artist Award" in the same sentence scares me!
It is your choice of course but maybe gigs are the events where a case is needed the most ?
I only play Jazz clubs and concerts any more, i would not take the Artist to any bar gig.Depends upon the gig. The risks to the instrument are much different in a concert like setting where there is a backstage area compared to a bar where the audience has access to the "stage".
My bag vs. case experience comes from gigging with a tuba and the choice was almost always determined by transportation. The tuba in HSC was comparable in size to a 2x15 bass cabinet. The key differences are that the tuba did not weight 110lbs and did not have wheels on the case. If bus or subway and/or walking more than a few feet or navigating stairs was involved then it was always the gig bag or getting help. Similarly many of the vehicles available to me could carry the driver and the HSC or the driver, a passenger and the gigbag.
Obviously the choices won't be quite as extreme with a guitar but there have been posts from guitarists needing a gig bag or a case with shoulder straps because they were walking with the instrument to get where they needed to be.
I play very low profile gigs, ive been using a mono bag for my X700s for years with no issuesIt is your choice of course but maybe gigs are the events where a case is needed the most ?
