I have been unable to find a gig bag to fit my Starfire II bass.
Suggestions appreciated.

Hi Deepbass. The Guild Guild Deluxe Acoustic Bass Gig Bag is actually a good fit and a really great quality bag for the money. It's made for the B-240e acoustic bass, so it's not a super snug fit for a Starfire, but it doesn't really shift around noticeably while carrying or wearing the bag via straps. There's a nice foam neck-brace inside that keeps the bass in place.
They sell for $69 new but are out of stock at most sites. Found this one on ebay but it has a little cut in the side. Could definitely be patched up and 100% usable if you don't care about cosmetics so much
*I'm not in any way affiliated with the seller, just passing it along

I spent a long time looking as well, and ended up having a leather one made by Glenn Cronkhite before he quit and sold the business. It cost me twice what the bass cost (I got my '67 in '94 for $250). It's an excellent bag. I had him make the pocket big enough to hold an Alembic power supply and all the cables plus extra strings and tools.

Cronkhite sold the business to another company and they have his original templates, so hopefully they could make some more of these. Not a bargain, but will last a life time. https://glenncronkhite.com/product-category/bass-guitar-bags
