Well, wouldn't that tear your nightie !!

Sorry you missed out wineguy.

You know, I suggested to smithfieldfair that he doesn't need three of the damn' things .... wouldn't take a blind bit of notice !!

I was watcihng that one because I'd like to get a smaller-sized guitar and the GF stuff looks nice. I decided the scar on the top was something I just wouldn't like after a while.

Don't worry; these come up often enough. If you can, check out the guy on youtube playing blues on a GF-25. It's a nice sound.

That was certainly was a Gruhn era Guild at a bargin price... Someone will be very happy.. I tried to talk one of my co-workers into bidding.. It didn't work. IMO the GF-25, DV-52 and G-37/D-30 models are the best guitars for the money. I can buy a better sounding guitar but only at a much higher price.

Man, that's a big tone from a smaller guitar. I think this is the one for me, and it would be a nice compliment to the D25! The same guy in the video posted another one where he's playing an old Yammie FG75. I had one of those, but I ended up donating it to a little kid who's mother was having some serious financial difficulties. Mine sounded really tinny compared to the one in the video--maybe I had a dud! But I still love those old FGs!

I keep an old Yammy FG340-II here in the office as the occasional stress machine. It's been around the world with me and still looks darn near new. Great guitars for the money; still have the hang tag... I paid 194.00 for mine in 1987.
