George Barnes

I keep seeing George Barnes in old Guild catalogs and really know little about him. Went to Youtube and found him Soloing on a Guild with several other jazzers.

Not to take anything away from Geo Barnes, but I wish they showed the rhythm player with his Epiphone Emperor a little more.

Barnes is absolutely one of the hippest, swingingest, funkiest guitar players of all time. He's one of the greatest single-note jazz guitarists who ever lived. There are not too many clips of him on youtube, but check him out. He's got so much feeling and humor in his playing.
