I think you're confusing Die Hard with The Wedding Singer, which says even more.

I had a friend in high school who was the only female drummer in the school. She was really good and had a full Sonic double bass kit at home. I begged her to be in a band with us because (this being 1980 or so) having a girl drummer would have been amazing and it didn't hurt that she was gorgeous. She always turned us down because she had tremendous stage fright and once said she'd only do it if she could wear a bag over her head. I think she would have been a fan of the big bass drum.
