One glaring error in that encyclopedia!
"Acoustic Bass 32', Pedal; Thomas Coats Memorial Church, Paisley, England; Hill 1890".
That is most definitely in Scotland, not England

Since I do have friends who are organists...

My grandmother played organ for her church. When we visited my sister and I took turns as her official page turners. One of us sat with her at the organ and as she played she would nod her head when it was time to turn to the next page of her music, which we would do for her. It made me feel very important.

I don't recall seeing any of those buttons, though.

When the church needed a new organ she argued for and was instrumental in convincing them to install another pipe organ as she said there was no comparison in sound.
