That would be one of the largest rock concerts of all time 600,00 to 750,000 at Watkins Glen Racetrack in July '73 @ "Summer Jam." (Actually, the Allman's were not the main act, it was equal billing.)

Unfortunately, I don't remember the Dead's set that Sat. Morning, because I was orbiting planet Zippy for a few hours and, even though my physical body was there, my astral body was not!

I couldn't think of a good way to phrase it without being hierarchical so just went with the concert order, but I was wondering how long it would take to meet another of the 600K on LTG? I vaguely remember the music, definitely remember the people but was most impressed be a side event. I went with my stepbrother and we were going to crash with a friend of his. We got there and the friend had been busted for possession about an hour before.

I should say "I don't recall :wink:" but the friend had roommates so we still spent time there.
