F-30 (000) Based EA Guitar Comparisons:

OK folks......
Just for a moment, lets talk about a "comparison shoot-out" among the best over-seas F-30 (000) based guitars that I know of:
1. Guild GAD 30R
2. Morgan Monroe M 30
3. Saga Blueridge Br-163

What we know so far........ there is a price range spread of about $250 from the least expensive to the most expensive of the three......

Guild GAD 30R -
000 Sized All solid rosewood body with Scolloped braces,
with a 25.5" scale, with a 1 & 12/16" wide neck,
"A?" Solid Spruce Natural or Antique, or AmberTop.
Includes hardshell case.

Morgan Monroe M 30:
000 Sized all solid rosewood body with Forward pre-war Martin like Scolloped bracing,
with a 25.5" scale, with a ?" wide neck, (round or "V" shaped neck),
"AAA" Solid Spruce Natural Top.
Includes hardshell case.

Saga Blueridge BR-163:
000 Sized all solid rosewood body with forward pre-war Martin like X-bracing,
with a 25.5" scale, with 1 & 11/16" wide neck.
"AA" Solid Spruce Natural Top
Includes hardshell case.

Has anyone done a head-to-head comparison player-test between or among these guitars? Pros? Cons?

I'm curious, too. I keep seeing the neat specs on Morgan Monroe. The closes I've come to seeing an answer is on the Unofficial Blueridge site; worth reading. Blueridge bests the MM.

I believe the Morgan Monroe is a short scale [24.9"], which makes it truly an 000 and not an OM copy which the others are.

OOOPS, I was wrong about that...It is the Johnson Carolina JO series that is the short scale 000...my bad. But that is another one that you could add to your list of low cost small body guitars.

If it were me, I would go with the GAD-30R. Played two of them and they rocked.
