Hey y'all. Here's a little blast from the past.
First the story: this is ole Mello's first "real" guitar; a Jackson DKMGT. Finally up for sale. This is sort of like Jimi Hendrix's old Danelectro that disappeared and would now be worth ridiculous amounts of money... don't miss out this time around Sure, it's a little different than the Guild starfires, T-100s, and acoustics you would usually find in the FS column here... but I figured I might as well throw it up on here and see if anyone's interested. My brother has had this for the last couple of years but I could really use the money at this point so it has to go.
It is equipped stock with passive EMG humbuckers, a floyd rose tremolo system, and a very cool 20dB volume boost. The finish is "black forest green." There are a couple of minor dings here and there, along with a bit of finish wear on the back of the neck. But otherwise it's an excellent instrument. Plays great, sounds groovy, looks gorgeous.
Asking price is $325 shipped CONUS
Here are some photos (including one of 10th grade Mello on stage with his shiny new Jackson)
