By the way, here's the '73 I'm keeping:

As you can see, same finish but the wood is noticeably lighter than the '74. Also has a few more dings and buckle rash than the one Larry Esposito is getting. Both have finish checking, but sometimes it's easier to see against the lighter color on the '73 than the darker '74.

Don't beat yourself up too bad, I was on it in lightning speed. FWIW, I almost exposed a few cracks in Thunderfaces armour. We has breaking down under my constant pestering. Maybe he will break up the 73 family? If not, he seems to have a keen eye for finding these things for sale all over the country.

Got it last night! Thanks for the fast shipping, Q.

I resisted the urge to open her up, based on advise about finish checking. By the time I get home from work tonight, she should be ready to unbox.
