Hi y'all. My guitarist buddy from CT is finally moving out to NY so we can get our band up and running! He's actually making the 8hr trek as we speak...
With that said, some investments need to be made for the band to get off on the right foot. I tried selling my P bass but it hasn't moved yet. Thus, I'm considering selling my '68 Guild Thunderstar Bass head. All original except for the tubes and the professionally installed, 3-prong grounded plug. Works perfectly. Tubes have plenty of life left in them. Very light and compact for a tube amp... I'm guessing right around 30 lbs. Packs some serious punch though; super warm and lots of bottom end (unlike a lot of the competitors from the time). Couple dings and dents, but considering that this is a 41yr old amp, it's in great condition. I'm thinkin $375 shipped. If you're interested, let me know and maybe we can work something out.
Remember, this is for a good cause; the revival and survival of psychedelic blues rock!! This is your chance to be a part of the movement... for some of you, again
Hear it here - nice and warm:
