Frets + finger pressure = out of tune?

Is this possible? I'm used to guitars with "vintage" frets. It sometimes seems like the M-75T is out of tune when I'm chording, but when I check it out it's spot on. Do I have to lighten up or is there some other explanation?

Very large jumbo frets + light strings, yes, absolutely possible!

Gotta learn to play with a lighter touch on those big frets. It's actually a great lesson - you'll play faster!
