I must be part Finnish because I have no trouble with cold but can't tolerate heat.

In the winter I keep my home heated to 55F/13C. No joke! I find that below 51F I can be uncomfortable, but above that just requires a sweater. 55 provides a small but adequate margin. Above 85F/30C my body starts to shut down. I wish I could dig an underground den and hibernate like a bear for the summer.
I'm the other way around. I don't like cold, but heat is okay, up to a point. Summertime in India late April until the monsoon arrives either in June or July, is super hot. I used to mind it, but not now. 105 F in the shade anyone?

Ah, circumcision humor!! It unites us, one and all!! :sneaky:

Over here it is quite unpopular - less than 10% - I understand, that in US it is like 90%

So THAT does not unite us . . .

Then naturally there are jokes about use of the cutoff afterwards . . .

Plant them to grow cops ?

Well, I meant more that HUMOR about it unites. I think it's a barbaric and mostly unnecessary procedure and unless you suffer from phimosis or some such condition it's silly. But humor unites as we laugh at ourselves?? I dunno.....

We think alike - notice how I wrote "THAT" - humor again - fortunately all people around the globe have it.

The fact that the procedure was controversial or unnecessary escaped my notice for much of my life :)

In the spirit of not recognizing when self moderation is necessary there is the story of the mohel who made luggage. Buy a suit case, take it on vacation and when you need more space for souvenirs, just rub it.

Oh yes, self-moderation would have been a good idea... 😧

OK OK - let's move few inches back . . .

Pasqual.gif

- I'm going to call Spanish Embassy
- Pasqual
- I'll call again after short while.

Explanation

Spanish word pasqual sounds quite similar to finnish word "paskalla" - which is everyday "rude" version of sitting on toilet w # 2

OK - let's try another - I have no idea where this is from - might well not be finnish original - I'll translate, as usual.
