Good till the end of the month in Canada and the States. I played one of their Chinese guitars that was only a couple hundred dollars including the hard case, I might just take the coupon and get one for 'the campfire' it was a pretty good sounding a little guitar... For what it's worth. http://www.fender.com or go to www.theminorchord.com and you can see the link, plus that looks like a cool store. Steffan

Steffan, you are along way from The Minor Chord, LOL! About 25 minutes from here, nice store, new owners I think. Martin, Taylor, Fender, Yamaha lines. A lot of Fender electrics you never find around...saw my first Classic 60's Telecaster there...thanks for the info, downloaded the coupon, ya just never know, right? :?

Been there a number of times, most recently within the past month. Funny about the repairs...within the last six months or so they let go a local luthier who was working there several days a week (making his ends meet)...to open a piano room (???). Ok, fair enough, but they are sending their repairs out, at least last I had heard...it is very unlikely that they are a Martin repair center, as of late (except for one that I know of) all Martin work goes back to the mother ship...they severed their ties with many fine luthiers, presumedly to bring the income home (???)

Does this mean it's time for a Classic '60's Tele Bill? Everybody in the band loves the Candy Apple Red one that you recommended a while back!

Stephan, sorry, I was speaking of The Minor Chord, not familiar with Whitsett at all. They are probably very good luthiers, just never heard of them before.

Sandy: Naww, probably not in the cards...at least until an Epiphone Les Paul I traded my son for my Classic 60's Strat for moves at Union Music...feeling "trader's remorse" already, though the strat probably would have met the same fate...though it probably would have sold by now! The white version of your tele is "just the right shade," although the pickguard is a little too white.

Sorry for the veer guys, we now return you to the original topic

Whitsett mentioned the other day someone asked him how many guitars he had repaired...and he figured it was over 10,000 and he loves what he does and he does it well from what I've seen... Steffan

So change the pickguard! It's not like they're hard to find or anything. I'm thinking about doing the same to the new J-Bass, as I saw someone over a TalkBass did the same and it looks better IMO. The pearlescent guard sets off the inlays nicely 8)

What veer? We are talking about Fenders here, aren't we? One could even say that since Guild is part of Fender, that in it's purest form, we're really a Fender list!
