Playing Out the Fender "Elvis" Kingman (electricfied)
Taken at Sullys Pub
I had Martin 2nd Gen 332 Thinline pickup and powered jack added. It sounds great and looks way kool!

Elvis held a guitar that sorta looked like this in the Movie "Clambake" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhSSgWmfFk0 look at 1:25

Wow, can't believe there were no hits on this...

Tried your new baby for a few minutes there in the Stonge's living room, nice guitar...really much nicer than I would have expected. I have sort of morphed form liking big chunky "Louisville Slugger" necks to slimmer "60's Fender C" shaped necks. And your EP Kingman, Pez, did not disappoint

Just finally looked at that Elvis link...now it becomes clear where that scene in "That Thing You Do!" with Cap'n Geech and The Shrimp Shack Shooters came from

Did people (and the artists?) actually think scenes like this were good? Now I understand how Jimmy felt in TTYD

But yeah, that looks like a blue/green wildwood Fender, Pez...

It was the '60's...many mysteries from the era are still unexplained....such as why Claifornia never did fall into the sea.
And whether or not the Robinsons ever finally made it back to earth....
or whether or not blondes truly have more fun... :?

We didn't fall into the Sea,....because the Energy Wasn't Right,.Man. Regarding your other question....Blonde's appeared to have more fun, but years later it was discovered that when Leading Specialists at Stanford exhumed the remains of a group of blonde, Huntington Beach HS Cheerleaders, who died mysteriously en mass in early 1969....that the "fun" you speak of was actually acute Peroxide Poisoning.

Not sure of Lost In Space as when it aired, I found it a bit too campy...especially the creepy, pedophile Doctor character. :?

Perhaps "Danger, Will Robinson!" had layers of meaning? Who'da thunkit?

Elvis looks great in that scene. And all of the extras are great looking too.

Its an Elvis movie guys...we're not expecting "Shawshank redemption" are we?

For what its meant to be, its a great scene
