Re: F-512 LTG Owner Review

How long have you owned the F-512: Seven Months
Year & specific model: 2010, Natural with DTar
Purchased new or used:New
Price paid: Nothing, I won it at the LTG Guild factory tour.

Owners rate 1 (least appreciated) to 10 (most appreciated) in following categories with comments as desired:

Build quality-10
Looks-10
Projection-8
Bass-8
Mids-10
Highs-8
Sustain-10
Playability/comfort-10
Dependability-10
Fingerstyle-9
Flatpick-9
Strum-10

Condition (Mint/Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor):Excellent

Favorite Strings (one selection only):D'Addario PB

Would you buy another if lost/sold: Probably

Overall Assessment: Very nice guitar. Even though I play it more than my F-212, I'm not sure if it is a better instrument. The DTar makes it easy to amplify (F212 has an LR Baggs M1 active)

Most Appreciated Characteristic:playability
Least Appreciated: The tuning machines
Favorite F-512 Story/Moment: Actually least favorite, when it fell off of a Hercules stand, not once but twice due to my carelessness and damaged some of the binding and chipped the finish on the head (why I didn't rate it as mint)

Other observations/comments: This is a much better guitar for fingerpicking than my 212, but I think the 212 has much more blues in it.
