I don't mind showing mine off either, because it had a beautiful finish, one of the best I've seen on any guitar. Probably should have kept it, but this was when I was living under the "one twelve string" rule. When last seen, it was living with @dapmdave, but I think he sold it, too.

I know the fretboard is definitely ebony. The bridge looks like ebony.

Ebony bridge on mine, maple neck, too. It's really a JF-65 12 but like so many others I think of it as an F-412.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! The early ones were mahogany, then changed over to maple and then back to mahogany.

I always have thought that mahogany necks look a little off on maple and rosewood guitars. I had the "fat bottomed girls" out for a photo shoot a while back, and you can see the mahogany neck on my F512. The maple neck on the JF65-12 makes more sense.

It's such a great guitar Margaret. It might not be quite as loud as the '96 I used to own, but I'd need to A/B them to be sure. I really don't need three 12 strings, but choosing one to sell is impossible.

I think the mahogany necks look fine on rosewood bodies... Maple bodies deserve maple necks, though. IMO..

Sold my Corona F-412 a few weeks back.
It was a factory 2nd with a faulty top coat.
Served me but it was time to let someone else enjoy it.
I kept it tuned down a 1/2 step while I owned it - potential customer asked to tune it to pitch at the shop that was selling it for me - top bellied up immediately - I reduced the price by $1K - it sold a few weeks later, all faults fully disclosed for a couple of hundred more than I paid for it.

Wow, I never would have guessed that would happen, especially since the difference in tuning was only a half step!

your back is SOOO much prettier than mine. You have a beautiful flame on yours. Being honest, I am not sure mine would qualify as being "flamed". Granted, I have not seen mine in person, but this is the photo they sent me...

Don't panic! A lot of the maple they use have "ghost" flames. They don't photograph well, but your eye will easily see them.
