I took some boxes of donations to a charity thrift store the other day. There was nobody shopping in the store at that moment, so I went in and did a quick buzz through books, DVDs, CDs, and records. I found a small cache of 78 RPM disks that I bought. Among them was an Everly Brothers recording.
A Side - All I Have To Do Is Dream – with some sweet studio guitar work by Chet Atkins.
B Side – A cover of Roy Orbinson’s Claudette
And this recording of Claudette is from 1958. One wonders why it sounds so Beatle-ish.
