I saw this Fiesta Red Tele Custom and just loved it, bought it, and still smilin'
Ended up selling another guitar to keep things leveled out so to speak.

Teles are not my cup of tea, but I helped a guy buy a '70s Custom that was available locally a few years back (I got to keep the '70s Fender Twin as part of the deal) and the neck on it was glorious!

Very cool tele. Love the RW neck; much prefer it to maple.
As I mostly played a Les Paul for decades, I like the control/switch layout as it is on your guitar.
How does the HB-single coil balance out? Do they play well together?

Ooh, that's a looker for sure. I've always liked the darker Fender custom reds.

Re. GAD's comment: for whatever reason '70s Tele Thinlines & Customs tend to have really nice necks. Bigger than the '60s slim C but not huge either.

The Wide Range Humbucker has been revoiced on the Vintera model and with a 500K or 1 Meg in the volume on the neck pickup, it really opens up.
That was the trick with the last version of the Wide Range Humbucker RI. Swop out the volume pot and they sound great. I have a couple of these and one has a stacked humbucker in the bridge. Still looks the same just quieter and fatter. Certainly not the standard Tele sound but still a Tele.
The single coil that came with the this Fiesta Red Custom sounds great and balances quite nicely with the humbucker in the neck.
Anyway I really like the guitar and just thought I'd share.

I would love to get a Butterscotch Ash Tele with a maple fingerboard and neck.

But then, I was born the same year as the Stratocaster! We were both in the 1954 catalog.

I had been lusting after one of these for some time but being that they were out of production I didn't think I'd ever come across one in person. Then one day I was at GC and there it was. Didn't even bother to play it, just picked it up laid it on the counter and bought it. Added a six saddle bridge, a black guards and she's perfect.
