Hi bdeclee; know that one too well: it was competing w/ an F-312 being sold by another BBer here a few weeks ago. Seller says it's Brazilian; there are knowledgeable folks here who don't think it is or, at least, might not be. cj

What annoys me about some of these auctions is the fact that they're often posted without photographs. It looks like this seller added the two bottom shots after the listing was posted, but what about photos of the bookmatched back? Or the frets? I mean, any serious buyer would want to see those pictures, don't you think? Especially since he lists this as Brazilian. Same complaint goes for other auctions too, not just guitars -- when I see a single, dinky shot from someone's cellphone, for instance. Oy! Okay, that's my cranky vent for the day.

Actually, Capn, mine may still be available......

And, Barbara, the one you're referring to has been up 3 times already. Plenty of controversy. And, up until now, plenty of pictures. Suspect there's a problem with his image hosting service today. Check it later, if you want.

Mine is a 1966, and, more than likely, Brazilian, tho there have been so many disputes on that subject that I will not represent it as such. New owner to draw their own conclusions :D

There are a few pictures of it floating around on this forum.
