The Hurdy Gurdy Man was at the market today. I watched and listened for a while....and decided to stick to guitars.

I'll have to say that he was one of the better hurdy gurdyiers I've heard. Looked like an F something or other..... :?:

After watching Dean Shostak play a hurdy gurdy, I briefly flirted with the idea of learning it so that I had a "melody instrument" in my repertoire but soon gave up the idea.

A chorus concert called for a hurdy gurdy and Dean was hired although it is pretty clear he much prefers the glass instruments. Those are pretty cool, too.
