The T-50 was introduced 59 years ago. Beginners and intermediate students need not apply.

This oldschool music instruction racket stuff kills me. Reminds me so much of the shysters that'd come around the junior high, signing kids up for band instruments on installment plans.

Nothing beats:

though.

As an alternative, might I suggest the name of the instrument was inspired by Sigmund Romberg's operetta, The Student Prince?

For a potential buyer the name might invoke memories of the longest running Broadway show of the 1920's.

I actually had heard of the operetta although I don't recall a performance so my immediate reaction to the guitar name was not thinking it was chosen to cater to beginners :)

Have you ever seen a Vox Student Prince in person? They're pretty comical.

Whoa, I just did a search for that phrase and it brought up some rather unique looking instruments!! Those teardrop things with the padded snap on thing on the back? Wow......

The Vox Guitarorgan is quite interesting, as well.......

Always dug the Vox guitars back in the day! Friend gad a high end Phantom with built in effects, A440 tuner, vibrato. The effects were a problem. When you switched them on the volume dropped 10 dB!
Thinnest neck in the world!
Look cool but not great players. That hollow body teardrop looks interesting. They built them as solid bodies also.
