Thanks! Been enjoying them! I see I blew the pickup switch position on the
green one though, dang it - was trying to get a consistent pose 😜

The red colored one seemed to be the most difficult color to get on the S73. Had the natural and green in the 6 and 12 string versions but now only the natural S7312 remains. Great guitars. Comfortable wide necks and great sounding Gold Tone HB or DeA 2k pickups.

Had the natural 6 string and a 12 string green S73. That green one was a very fine instrument, way better than the modest price might suggest.

Thanks GG! My mini-obsession with the set-neck versions of
these aspirationally Guild-ish guitars is alive and well :)
I've found what matsickma wrote to be true - all-original red ones in vg or better condition
not easy to find, the natural or green finishes seem to show up more often.

I used to have a green one, but it was almost black, only showing the gorgeous green color in bright light. I regret selling it, for sure!

MSC, I have several DeArmonds with that green color, I believe was it called "Teal Transparent" and
agreed - depending on lighting conditions, sure can look like a near-black.

Have wondered if there may have been some variation in either the saturation of the color when
it was applied and / or the natural color of the wood it was sprayed on.

The color of the finish of the S-73 in the center photo was more like an emerald green,
the darker green you've described seems somewhat more common,
as seen in the first and last photos.
