Thanks Ralf - have had several professional guitarists who had it in hand
remark upon the build quality, easy playability and chimey tonal characteristics.
Another one I had earlier (on left in photo) was the same way.

I bought the one on the left, and it is really fine. Guitar was in excellent condition and Bonneville was great to deal with. Dude knows how to pack guitars.
I traded for an S73-12 years ago. Transparent dark green, as in the pic of GAD's S73 above. That guitar was solid, very well built, excellent p/us. Playing it bothered my left wrist some, so I finally sold it. But oh man, what a cool instrument!
AFAIK this is the same "Teal Transparent" as your S73 but in most situations
this one may appear darker - the S73 in your photo appears to have an exceptionally
brilliant example of this finish color - perhaps due to the natural variances in wood and / or how the
color was mixed and applied in a given time period...
Can provide additional specific detail or view photos upon request.
Boy those DeArmonds are cool! I am seeing DeArmonds across reverb / GC / Ebay listed for higher prices. GC Has black X-155 that looks like it was dropped repeatedly for $1000... All that to say BV has this one in excellent condition and priced very well. Good luck sir!
