I know this is really a mess! More commentaries following my 2 other posts on the DeA ..Picture17: Ugly protruding jack socket in a ugly plastic black square thing.Yuk!Nr18 &19:pots cavity:there's a visible line in the wood showing that the back seems to be glued over the body wood, like a wooden-sandwich.Anyone with a suggestion is welcome!Nr20:toggle switch(?) cavity & wiring.Nr21:back cavities cover with aluminum-foil shielding?Nr22:toggle switch cavity, same wood-sandwich.Nr23&24: demarcation line heel/body..Nr25:strap button , =3 screws , not fully tightened, do they have to be?Nr26: a small round mark in the fretboard wood. Not sure what it is.Dirt? A grain in the wood?(I'd love that, that fret board screams:" natural wood! this is wood from a wooden tree back in the days they had trees that they made guitars with!"It'got nice browner veins, althought it globally looks rather light-brown, sort of pau ferro. It is supposed to be Rosewood,I do not know,i find it gorgeous)Nr27: the bridge sits in 2 metal things that are in the guitar table, so , it is not floating.Nr 28:Under the pickguard, a pad of synthetic foam.Nr 29:pickguard w/screws, one of them pretty much longer than the other, caused slight damage to the table, wonder if this is the original screw?Nr30:damage, I told you!Nr31: machine-head w/two small titties that go into the wood, no screws.Any idea who makes equivalent tuners- of a better quality-?(I do not want to drill new holes in that guitar!)Nr32: machine-head, I think generic asian product, those with a logo that looks like a chair with a kind of"c" inside.Nr 33 Tuner hole, w/ the 2 small holes that the tuner titties go in.Nr34 Neck pup:Yummy! 3 height-adjustment screws, 1 on the right, 2 on the left, allows tilting the pup parrallel to the curve of the body (I do not know how to say this, you can tilt the pup..)Nr 35: The Green Stuff: the bridge pup on this guitar had traces of some evil-looking green stuff, not easily removable, the kind of which you would find in an abandoned chemical plant.Chromium decay? Was the previous owner a punk who used to spit mucus on his pickups to make them sound wilder?Anyway, I found traces of this alien residue here and there , mostly on the inside of the cavities, made me wonder if the guy in Korea who sprayed the Infamous Green Paint on some of the Dearmonds (Yerk!Isn't that the ugliest green!) had not accidentaly sprayed green everywhere the day they had to take him down to the psychiatric ward. Anyone ever witnessed such a phenomenon?Nr 36: more seriously: the chromium on the bridge pickup is stained , does anyone known how to restaure that?Nr37:same thing with this adjustment wheel, it does not rotate as smoothly as it should, because of slight corrosion.Any solution?Nr38:Square inlay, plastic, not really ugly, looks like bone when you're drunk, ok, fine.
Yeah, that's the end, never thought I would write something like that, hope it helps somebody, I guess I forgot some pictures, I will make a new post with all of them, if I can. This is not as clear and neat as what I had in mind, sorry about that! Last but not least: my M75 weighs 4kgs and 50 grammes, which is heavier than my sg-copy, a great deal heavier than my MIK St-Blues 61, lighter than my G&L Comanche USA. Oh, there is no slogan such as "Guild: made to be played!" for the Dearmonds, I think people at LTG should think of something....Any ideas? Thanks for reading..

Some nifty photography there! I have to say, I wouldn't have the nerve to do a take-A-Part like that... But interesting to live vicariously thru you... Thanks for posting.
