DeArmond M-55 Opinions

I've checked out a DeArmond M-55 last week. It is quite used, but not quite abused. I'm thinking of picking it up, to have a dedicated electric for slide. It goes for $70.

I assume the construction is similar to the M-50 :

Does anybody have one? Is that a good price?
