Hello - since I need a bass like a hole in my head - this is more a curiosity question.

A DeArmond Jetstar bass w two Mickey-Mouse pups is for sale here. It looks kind of cute.
What would be reaonable price?
But are they any good?
What is scale length etc.

They're very nice basses. The pickups sound great -- kind of similar to a '51 style precision bass single coil, so with 2 it was kind of like a jazz bass on steroids. Mine had a very comfy shortscale neck with nice fretwork. Only complaint was that the solid black poly on mine just made it feel and look like plastic to me and probably why I ultimately let it go. The red transparent looks nice though! I would say $500 would probably be a fair used market price. If it was local to me for less, I would be very tempted.

Ok - this one is 350€ including that little bass combo - about 100W - I sleep one or two nights before I jump into anything.

Yeah, that's a good deal! I would probably go for it. Those little behringer amps are okay. Cheap but surprisingly loud. Not the best tone, but it's basically a freebie if the whole package is 350€

Speak of the devil! Here's one stateside. Fair price for what you get. That said, luckily it's not transparent red or purple, so I get to keep my Christmas bonus... for now anyway
