Dating some of my Guild guitars

Hello again Guild experts. My insurance man asked me to update my guitar inventory and I guess it's about time I did so anyway.

I'm hoping someone out there can tell me year of build for the following Guild instruments:

-F50R s.n. TL099004

-D40 SB 2PG s.n. 209326

-D55 s.n. AD552033

-CV-1C s.n. 311482061

Hello Richard,

Should be able to help you with some of them:

-F50R s.n. TL099004 is from 2008

-D40 SB 2PG s.n. 209326 is from 1979

-D55 s.n. AD552033 is from 2001

-CV-1C s.n. 311482061 that's not an official Guild serial number, so I assume this is one of the blemished or factory overstock models that were sold after the Tacoma plant was closed. The replacement serial numbers are usually printed on a sticker. The model CV-1C was introduced in 2006, so that should give you an idea how old your guitar could be.
