I always knew I had a problem. It's been 38 years since I came down with GAS and it's terminal....I'm a goner! However, it's refreshing to find so many similarly 'afflicted' individuals. It's downright overwhelming! I'm new in this neighborhood but I've recently scored an older (?) D25 and would like for someone (Hans?) to lend a hand with the serial # from the headstock: 195157. No label inside.

Thanks,
KD43

You're right, KD. Hans is probably the best one to confirm your serial number. I'm sure he'll come along soon.
Have you got a photo of your new prize you can share with us? The D-25 "club" here is very supportive of each other and loyal to that model. You're in good company!

Welcome aboard!
Post well. Post often.

Hello KD,

Welcome! As Chicagowineguy already mentioned, your D-25 is from 1979.

Hope you like it!

Sincerely,

I'm currently dating a blonde D-50...Recky

Recky,

Just so you know, there's no such thing as a blonde D-50. If you've found one she's probably re-done and it's going to cost you a lot to get her back to original .....and she will not be blonde any longer!

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

I think maybe he meant an F50... easy to get confused when you're in love.

But Recky, whatever you do, don't tell her you made that mistake... she might pout, and you wouldn't want that. Blondes are sensitive. My F50R (brunette with redhead overtones) gets cranky if I don't sit her on my lap every day...

Hah, of course there is no blonde D-50! Stupid. I'm only a newbie, though :) Thanks for pointing it out, though, Hans.

What I meant was that my D-50 has a natural top, but calling a gorgeous lass "natural" sort of implies hairy legs and such.... ;-)

BTW, Hans, did you get my email? I hear there have been problems with emails getting through to you or something like that.

Cheers,
Recky

Hello Recky,

Don't think I received an e-mail from you. If you have problems contacting me through the website, just use the PM button at the bottom of my postings.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
