I recovered the '79 D25 from the luthier today and I must say that I was blown away by the sound! I broke down for a new saddle, nut, strings, and ebony pins and this near-mint beauty sounds better than I ever imagined it would. I took it into my acoustically-perfect studio (the bathroom) for a few numbers and marveled at the tone. It's no wonder we can't help ourselves!
Well, back to the studio!

Cheers to all.
