I'm selling my 2018 D-40Traditional Deluxe in mint condition with the OHSC. I recently installed a LR Baggs Lyric pup which uses a small condensor microphone attached to the bridge plate, producing an authentic acoustic sound. There is a volume control in the sound hole. My understanding is that Sweetwater ordered just 18 of these Deluxe models. Upgrades included a rosewood facing on the headstock, MOP blocks on the fretboard, abalone around the sound hole and tortoiseshell binding on the neck and body. The guitar currently has new Ernie Ball "Paradigm" strings, and nicely broken in. Price: $1,900 + $100 shipping only to CONUS.

I bought this D-40 from Richard Petersen, thus it has good karma.

Here's more info from the Sweetwater website describing this guitar.

Wow. That seems like a screaming deal for one of those Sweetwater Deluxe models. Love the MOP inlay and that teardrop burst is perfect.

Thanks. Yes, the deal is good, especially since it's in mint condition and has incredibly fine appointments you don't find on the D-40 Traditional or Standard.

To me this qualifies as a sort of GSR in the same sense as my custom shop F30R Reno Star that was made with upgraded appointments for Reno guitars. Someone is going to be thrilled with this one Rich. GLWS.

Actually, the Sweetwater website page for the guitar does call it a "GSR." See the link on my FS ad above.

I wish my D40T had the natural mahogany sides and back, rather than the dark stain that it has, but it's a minor complaint.

Beauty!

That burst reminds me of the Orpheum bursts.
