Guildy Parties,

Which one, or two, or three, (or none or other) of these tailpieces would be correct for a 1960 X-350? In my limited number of pics, the gold flat front is the only version that shows up on the X350 and X375. Did they ever use engraved front harps? If so, did they use the flat back or layered back or both?

Sorry for the delay Darryl,

Didn't notice this one!

The first one of your samples would be right for an X-350 but not for a model from 1960.
Here's a photo that shows the correct one for an X-350 from 1960 on the left and on the right the engraved one, which was used for the higher end guitars.

Hans,

Is there any place to get replacements for Guild hinges (the part that goes around the end pin)?

Hello Darryl,

Don't know of any such place. In the past I had a local guy make some for me but it was something that he needed to do at work when the boss wasn't watching. Don't really want to ask him again!

Sincerely,
