o.k., so ya'll taught me how to copy and paste a link from a different source to LTG. I've got that down. Yea!!!!!

Now, how do I copy a pic(s) from the internet to this site. I right clicked on the image, hit the copy image command and then hit paste to show it on this forum but nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong or is that just not possible??? (yes, I know I am a computer dummy)

Try right click, then "copy image location"

copy.jpg

Then head over to LTG, and paste it in here:

Thanks; I’ve been taking a screenshot and using that. The correct method has one less step.

If I share it somewhere, it's usually something I'd like to keep. So in that case, you can create different folders for different topics (Guitar, Horses, etc.) and then choose the Save Image As option. Then direct your computer where to put it and give it a name. Then you'll always have it on your computer and then drag and drop into your post here on the forum. That's another way......

Copy and paste works for me. Here's a pic from a Reverb ad.

Copy paste doesn't always work for me. Sometimes the past operation opens a new browser window and displays the image in it. Rather than switch browsers or study the problem enough to get it fixed, I just copy the location or save the picture and go from there.

Notice - all pictures somehow do not "allow" to be copied - this is while using Chrome browser - in that case I click on the picture to open it separately - take a screenshot - then transfer the picture to LTG by dragging it.
