Confirmation of Pilot date?

I got my Pilot back from my son, and I'd like to confirm the date if I could. Serial BE102499 seems to be '87 according to the on-line files, but I also know they're not the most reliable.

It's Electric Blue, EMG P/J with passive V/V/T, Guild bridge- not a re-labeled Schaller bridge, but I think it was called the "Mueller" bridge at the time. Pointed headstock but not the big angled one that looks like a Jackson or those other pointy '80s things. It's the one in the photo with my profie.

In this case the list is correct. It's a 1987 Pilot Bass.
