Coming to Rockford, Illinois

I don't know who's from Northern Illinois, but if you are you should run up to Rockford this Thursday......I'm coming up all the way from Florida.....seeing a friend of mine, Damon Fowler play his fingers off.......this guy is absolutely fantastic.....electric mind you, but maybe the best Blues/Americana/Slide/Jazz player around. His voice is great. He signed with Blind Pig records and is pushing his newest cd which is currently about #6 on the charts.....Sugar Shack (no not the song from the 60's).

Anyway, he'll be at "Big Cities" in Rockford....I'll be the guy with the white beard in the front row with the prettiest woman in the bar.....say hi, I'll buy you a beer!

Dang, John. I'm usually in Rockford a couple of times each year visiting our small operation at the RFD airport. Wish I could meet up with you, but the next trip is not till August... Have a ball!!

I'm actually coming back in late August.......the last week....a niece getting married.
Unfortuantely Damon is in Denver for 4 nights that week.
