Dick Van Dykes

I thought of a variation of this one, but it will be taken down if I post it, so you will just have to take my word for it that it is hilarious, if you are not easily offended.

The Usual Suspects

An LTG member and former employee at New Hartford gigs under that name in New Jersey. My attempt to find his band easily via a search (instead of finding him) turned up many several other bands "in the area" using the name. I like the name but it doesn't gat any points for originality :)

I'm sure we have posted lots of names that have been used before or a currently in use - actually it's hard to find one that's not being used. I discovered this when I was helping my son find a new band name. I thought I came up with a unique one "The Vertical Horizons." Nope, already in use.

I picked up on that use only because of the LTG connection. This is one of several treads that would be seriously shorter if uniqueness were enforceable :)
