Many of us grew up collecting various sports cards. We have turned our attention and money to guitars. But do you still have a few--I do--baseball, basketball, and football.

I wish my Dad had NOT thrown away the several shoeboxes of baseball cards he took to the dump back in the 70s. He probably trashed hundreds of thousands of dollars on that day, but of course, no one knew they were worth anything or would be back then. it was like chewing gum. I know he had a rookie Fred Lynn card. tons of old red sox...

Yeah, I have more than a bunch sitting in a box. Mostly from the late '60s and early '70s. My kids don't care about them and, frankly, neither do I anymore. But I keep them around just the same.

Our two sons are 47 and 46. Most of theirs are in their closets in their vacated bedrooms included a rookie 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan

Ditto. Some cards around that date to my Dad's youth. Some stored carefully, some were unknowingly in the bottom box when the basement took on water. I figure there might be something worth something to somebody, but I don't have the time or interest to seek that person out. Ditto for a stamp collection that spans three generations.
