Chance to purchase a Guild D-4 12NT

I have the chance to purchase a Guild D-4 12 NT from a colleague and wanted to ask the opinion of knowledgeable people (who better than this board?). The asking price is $400. I would say the condition is 8.5 to 9 out of 10, without having actually seen it (I can inspect it later this week). It is missing 1 string and peg. I have a small collection of new and used guitars, and have always wanted to add a Guild to the collection at the right price. Please let me know if you think this is a good price.
