I would doubt the Newark St. case would fit, since that’s a different era(s) amalgamation.
Later Westerly Nightbirds and Bluesbirds take the same case, I don’t know about the Nightingale personally since that’s out of my reach, but it certainly looks like it would fit.

I no longer have a NS Bluesbird to test for you, unfortunately.

Most of my Nightbirds came in very LesPaulish cases, but both of my X2000s and my X3000 (Nightingale) came in rectangular cases. The Bluesbirds I have are in slightly different cases than the Nightbirds, but that could be just down to the era from which they came. One of my Nightbirds is in one of those '90s brownish cases if memory serves.

If want to know if something specific will fit in something else specific, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I thought these were too wide to fit generic Les Paul cases and would've guessed them too wide to fit NS aristocrat cases, accordingly. Are the NS Aristocrats a sloppy fit in their cases?

A picture is worth a thousand words - or at least a post's worth!

thanks all. turns out the NS BB case is very hard to find. When Chris posted the one from reverb, someone else scooped it up. i could order one somewhere. it would show up, eventually. i found another LTG thread thats says a Gibson 339 case will work good. (I guess a 339 is smaller than a 335?). there are some nice 335 cases out there so i may give one of those a shot

Yes a 339 is a smaller 335.

I’m pretty sure the BBs come in bags (mine did) and they don’t list a case online. Maybe the early ones came with cases?

In the Guild Store, they list the case as an M75 Aristocrat case, so the NS BBs May have just come with a gig bag, like the T-Birds, while the Aristocrats came with the hard shell cases.

My Songbirds do NOT fit into Gibson Protector II Les Paul case - just a little too tight. Are Songbird, Bluesbird and Nightbirg bodies the same size and shape?

For the record, I just tried a 2002 Bluesbird in my Epiphone ES-339 case and it was ever so slightly loose. Maybe 1/4 inch clearance all around the lower bout when I pushed the guitar up towards the top of the case. It could be made to work if nothing better was available.

It's a decent quality case, probably equal to the case my M-75 Aristocrat came, though it does say Epiphone on it. The exterior is slightly cushioned sort of like they used to make some car interiors. Makes me wonder if it might be a little easier to damage than one with a hard exterior covering. $119 at Guitar Center.
