Cable guy drilled a hole in the side of house, into a closet, through a guitar case, and right through a Martin HD-28V...

A new idea for a Martin model that is automatically wired to the internet.

But really, what a bummer.

It's just a Martin, and modern day Rosewood is so underwhelming...

I used to rebuild Torqueflite 727 transmissions for the strip for fun in my back yard. I built one for really long time friend who waited a few years to put in in his '69 Charger. He calls me out of the blue one day and he says the tranny I built leaks like a sieve.

I said no way, I don't build trannies that leak.

He pulled it out.

Drilled through the top of the case installing a B&M floor shifter ;]]]

We fixed it.

Watch that drilling. Use drill stops, I finally bought a really nice set. Use eye protection!

GA, IMO, a modern day D-28 of any variety is a highly desirable axe, I've enjoyed every HD-28 I've played (and I owned one for five years). And, the HD-28V is one I've always wanted to get my hands on.

I'll just bet that cable guy doesn't ever do that again, though.

Agreed on all the safety stuff. I'm actually kind of amazed that that cable guy got such a clean drill hole with what must have been quite a long bit. :)

Well, the drill bit was stabilized by the guitar case. :)
