You were all rights, It was about to happen sooner or later, I bought a new one ;)
A Burnside The Lance by Guild
The neck as been broken, I contacted the seller and it seem well repaired, the price was then incredibly low, since it's a guild I am betting the sound will be cool enough
I am hoping to use it as a guitar for loud and trashy effects, since the S-300 is so beautiful in clean (yeah I probably already said that several times  )

here is some pics from ebay you will have a complete book of it when it come home

well, its not sunburst, .. neither blond, but I suppose a sunburst V style guitar must be pretty rare :)

Bluesypicky, you might remember when you said (here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=19250)

Soooo, we understand your decision to purchase, it was the right thing to do, congrats, and we will understand when (not "if" but "when") you notify us of your next purchase.
Even if it occurs before you receive the M-65!

Well, maybe it will come true that way,  the seller of the M-65 deArmond might accept to send it, so that would mean 2 cheap and playable guitars in a row, (and I hope they are at least worth it)

I cant wait to play it !

I completely forgot about the tax part, I hope he did it that way (been already send),
Yes I am in france right now, but my life schedule is often shifting in the night, between computer stuff, guitar practice, and since my job allows it, I tend began late in the morning, makes me finish late, and so on ;) (but I really should go to bed now)

So what was the elapsed time between the purchase of your first and second Guilds. I think I went a week between my first (the '81 S300A-D) and my second, the '77 S-300 with the HB-1s that I subsequently sold to Plague.

I would say something like a month,
Thats funny a week later after my first, I had my eyes on this one http://www.priceminister.com/offer/buy/ ... ument.html

It has arrived :) I'll post photos soon,

the guitar is in very bad shape, as expected the neck used to be broken, there is new holes next to the pickups, the edges on the rear are damaged,
beside this, it plays really well, the sound is really interesting, without distorsion, the clean sound seems naturally distorted
feels really confortable, not as much as the S300, but way more than others guitars I could try

It's almost impossible to play when sitting, continuously slides one way

considering the price, its really a nice guitar, very fun to play :)

You might be amused by this thread, especially mgod's comment that the bass under discussion was definitely made to be played standing up.
