As in stolen or sold to pay the rent or was this a case of counting a 'for sale' chicken that did not hatch or.... ?

Regardless, I'm sorry.

Roger. It's hard to let go. There's someone with a nice sunburst '69 SF II bass that has been on ebay couple of times now. First price was over $5,000. It is not on the third listing that I have seen and the opening bid is down to $3,850. The seller clearly does not want it to go, but clearly has a money problem and getting top dollar is more important than getting it now. Personally, when I was ready to sell I'd list it with a reserve of $2,500 plus a little change so I cleared $2,500 after eBay fees. I suspect the seller knows that too but just can't let go at that price.
