Wow! Maybe it's the winter, etc., but this GAD monster putting out a ton of nice ripe sound. It's able to put out a better range of tones than when I first played it back June. It's a nice deep sound.

If it just stays this good, I'm happy. But perhaps it'll get better in a couple more years. Either way, glad I picked it over the Blueridge.

Ahh, that explains it! I have a GAD-50 also, so I understand. I picked the GAD-50 over a Martin D-28 for sound the day I bought it. The Martin was a tad better or deeper in the bass, but otherwise, I felt the GAD-50 had a better blended, harmonious tone that was great for rhythm playing.

However, I am really enjoying doing some lead flatpicking on it also. The trebles just ring out so true and clear.

My only gripe is the narrow string to string spacing at the nut, which is slightly narrower than most 1 & 11/16" string to string spacing. I may have to change it someday.
