Does anyone have a source for bone nuts and saddles that they’d rec? For my gf25.

At a thickness of 6/64ths, the saddle is slightly thinner than most. I can work on a thicker one, but would rather have one closer to start.

OBV been doing some research but thought I’d ask here as well.

thank you,
JR

Bob Colosi.

I needed a compensated saddle for by D-6, so I sent him the original, and got the replacement back (along with bone pins to match) in a couple of weeks.

Thank you! I keep reading that he does good work. Was looking for a more out of the box solution that won’t take so long and shut down my acoustic playing.

Don't know where you are from but if you have a local luthier, I would approach him/her. My guess is they could give you a quicker turn around. The old adage "Quick, Good, Inexpensive - pick any two.

Lot of truth in that. In Beacon NY for the summer with just the one acoustic. There’s a local shop I’ll talk to tomorrow.
