Bluesbird tremolo bar?

Lusting after an Alex Lifeson signature Les Paul, which I will never afford, it makes me think of putting a tremolo bar on my Bluesbird. Crazy, I'm sure, just a fantasy, I know...

But I KNOW I've seen a photo of a Bluesbird with a whammy bar, but I don't think it was on LTG, but somewhere else, maybe for sale on eBay. Not a Bigsby, which I've seen more than once, but a Floyd Rose or something.

Anyone ever consider this? Anyone own the one I saw? Anyone just have the photo I'm thinking of?

They're chambered, so I don't know if a Floyd would fly, but a Guildsby might.

Here's a thread where LTGer RussB mounted a Guildsby on a Bluesbird and used a Towner Down Tension bar. Super sexy!

I remember that our great LTGer guildzilla (Where are you buddy?) had a beautiful gold top or flamed maple top Bluesbird with either a Bigsby B7 or B12 mounted on it. It completely transformed the look of the guitar into something otherworldly!

If you want to go for a Floyd Rose or Kahler, you'll have to contend with the chambers.

Yeah, I know. That's why I don't think it will happen. I just think it would be cool if it could work, if anyone had done it before.
