$2500 (no fee to me). $50 shipping along the east coast, $75 to the west coast.
CONTINENTAL USA ONLY
1969 (I think) Guild M75 Bluesbird (hollow) with (worn) gold hardware.
Overall very good condition. Pro set up (low action) and I bought a Stew-Mac screw on cap to clean the pots (without fishing the pots out through a pickup hole). No scratchy pot noise.
Plays nicely and and sounds like the 1960s. Needs nothing, ready to go.
5 pounds 13 ounces.
The little round adjustable bridge supports are modern replacements from Guild. Not 100% sure about the bridge but I was told it’s not original.
I can’t remember if I had a new nut installed or if it was already there when I received the guitar but I assume it’s not original.
The faceplate of the peg head appears to have been re-glued at some point.
I received an email that says the tailpiece looks wrong.
I looked at other '60's Bluebirds and at first didn't see a difference but I now see that it is a little different.
So take that into account.
The case is original and in “good” condition. Lots of tolex wear but all five latches work and orange fabric supports are good. It still does what it’s supposed to do although it’s not what I’d describe as form fitting.
So basically an almost all original ultra light vintage Guild electric.
$xxxx. I will ask for what they used to call “Friends & Family” at Paypal (no fee to me).
Ships in a new 275 lb. test Uline box with NO plastic peanuts.
I’m in Richmond, VA. Cash/demo/pickup is fine. I’m more than happy to talk on the phone if you have questions. Message me for my number.
(Selling to fund another turntable that I don’t need.)
I'll be happy to supply my 100% feedback info across the usual sites incl. 25+ years at eBay.
(White specs are dust enhanced by the digital photography on my ancient iPhone.)
