Binding Repair glue/adhesive.

Can anyone recommend to me the adhesive or glue they use for binding repair? I have used Superglue in the past but it often attacks the finish. I have a small amount of neck binding to repair up at the nut on a late 1970's guitar and am looking for suggestions.

A lot of builders use Duco Cement to attach binding when they are making a guitar.
