Binding question . . .

As I ramp up my T-100 project, I'm having trouble finding a couple pictures that I need to order parts. The main item right now is the binding - my T-100 has none. The binding on my CE-100 is intact, though, so I can use that as a guide for ordering if the bindings are the same.

So my question is, are the bindings exactly the same on the T-100 and the CE-100? If not, can anyone post a close-up of a T-100 binding so I can get a sense of the binding layer proportions?

Sorry, but I don't know. Do the CE 100 and T 100 both have back binding?

Darryl,

The two are different - the CE-100 has back binding and the T-100 doesn't. I've already ordered and received all the parts I need to do the job, but it's going to be almost as difficult as building a hollowbody from scratch. Right now, I've got the top plate and the back and sides under pressure to try to rebend them to their original shapes. I also have to redo all the kerfing on the top. And my main concern is getting the neck reattached accurately!

I hope to post a sort of "resurrection diary" of the project pretty soon. This is a major project - perhaps the most ambitious I've ever tried. But if it works out OK, I should have a nice T-100 to play.
