Sounds way better than what we have. It's 97, "real feel" 104. Next week they are saying we'll have 101 and 102 before the heat index is figured.

Would someone please put me into cold storage until about late September?

We've had a great stretch on weather in NH in the 70's, that's perfect. That is until the last couple of days, it's been around 55. As much as I hated to, I turned on the pellet stoves, just to take the curse off. Was about 65 or 66 in the house. The Mrs. didn't seem to be too bothered by it, but Vinny the boxer, kept starring at me and was curled up in a tight ball. I knew what he wanted. Softy me gave in.

You'll get no complaints from me about Las Vegas right now. Last week was blasting up to 113 on a couple of days. Yesterday was cloudy and topped out at 83. Today has a high of 89. Lovely!! Next week it cranks up again to the low 100's. Summer has arrived. I actually rolled the trucks windows down yesterday for a while!!

No just the one, Tom. After the move was done we made the old house ready to show and within less than a week it was gone for top dollar. Bidding war thing. Rents are at an all-time high here right now. Wish I had it to rent, but doubt we'd have made it through the pandemic with people not working and such.

Seventy degrees here today, very sunny, cool at night, and and pretty much perfect weather. I was able to get yard work done without sweating at all. I wish it was like this 300 days a year.

Is 80 a routine summer temperature in Finland?

We're looking at 101 today. Oh, I can hardly wait. :cautious:

Another moderate day here with 87 degrees at 7 am. Going up to 92 today. They're saying there's an 80% chance of rain in the next hour or so. That'd be nice. Even with rain predicted the RH is at 20% which is super high for us, LOL!! Not like Florida, Cynthia. I'm sure yours is way higher. Enjoy your wet heat.....

We're dry as a bone. No rain expected for the next week and a half and currently only 57% humidity.

The summer solstice is melancholy for me - the realization that days will get shorter from here on makes me sad.

Beautiful day here in Michigan

Same here in Heron, Montana. But today's the day we're moving back over into north Idaho. We got help moving the big stuff today, but getting settled will probably take weeks.

See? I'm the opposite. I don't like those horribly short days but when it's still almost light out at 8:30?? Nope. It can get dark at 7 or so. I'm kind of a vampire/cave dweller type person.

Someone had to have dropped me on my head when I was little. Just came in from about an hour of mowing grass with a push mower (Yes, the cat let me borrow her mower.), that's about as long as the battery lasts. It's 96 outside with a "real feel" of 107. Why! was I mowing grass?!!

Maybe I should let it grow and bale it for hay.

So 12:45 here, about lunch time. I'll probably have ice cream, like I did yesterday after mowing the grass. I've already had a freezer pop - staples here in summer time, as well as life savers!

I would so like to go north for three months, at least.

Cmon up Cynthia, you'll love it. Nice cool nights and lots of lake and rivers. Bring your guitar.

Any idea where you might stay for 3 months?
