BBQ oh yeah !

Been looking for a new grill as my old girl has had about as much as she could take . It's a BBQ Grillware from Lowe's 15+ years ago . The closest thing to it now is the Dyna glow also Lowe's . The basic over all looks are close with some option improvements though not for my style of cooking but no where near as stout !
So I'm looking for best bang for buck plus ratings I don't consider the good ones . Lol
Anyway I'm hard on a grill I cook with direct and indirect heating so I want versatility did I get it ? Eh .....
I will be designing my own grill it's long over due . Lol
I was leaning towards the Oaklahoma Joe's longhorn but not available anywhere and yes many trashed it but it's fixable.
So since I want to stimulate the economy by means other then poo paper I decided on the Old country pesco smoker . 1 because it got good ratings and 2 I actually found one close ! Haha
So I got her home wiggled her up onto the deck around a few corners down 2 steps and she's home until I bring her back up the steps or do a deck add on specifically for the cooking .
So she's in season mode now and I keep forgetting that I have to resize the pics so I guess I'll add a bit later beer time ! What ? I'm seasoning a grill it's tradition !

I have one very similar to that. Just be aware that because it has so much mass, it takes a lot of heat to bring the whole thing up to temp, and to hold it there.

I just got a smaller one too.

Yeah that makes sense . The temp got up to 300 fairly fast but I was drinking beer so........ Lol

I'm already thinking of adding a top shelf . There some things I need to fix like a crooked hinge and the welded bolt on the stack for the flap. Why they didn't weld a nut and screw the bolt in so you could adjust or replace is beyond me they just welded the thing to the pipe crooked as well I may add . Lol

Unfortunately I can't find anything to really cook on it as all the meats and chicken seems to be in kahoots with the Toilet paper .

I should if cooked it longer but it was getting late and I lost all count of how much beer I drank . Lol
Anyway here's what it looked like after spending the night wrapped up on the stove all night .
Chicken wings ! Yaaaay !

Had my first Briskets on my smoker though small I took what I could get . Lol
I also had corn ,wings , potatoes ,brats and kabasa not photoed. Lol
All turned out very yummy .
Still in the learning phase which is not do easy , yet ! Lol
So this is today's result minus the Brats and kielbasa.
